Underarm Hyperhidrosis Botox® Treatment

Sweating is a normal function, and is a part of how your body regulates its temperature. However, some people produce sweat in amounts greater than required, this is known as hyperhidrosis. The condition leaves visible wet patches on clothing, and can cause embarrassment both socially and at work. AnnaLouise treats axillary hyperhidrosis using Botox® injections, which works by paralysing the nerves that make the glands produce sweat.

A free initial consultation is offered to discuss hyperhidrosis treatment options, to complete a medical assessment and to give opportunity to ask any questions. Treatment time is approximately 30 minutes, and results can be noticed after about 3 days. The degree of dryness achieved depends on the initial severity of hyperhidrosis. Benefits of treatment last between 6 months and 1 year.
